For an elegant and luxury wedding!!
This past year, we have been seeing a lot of navy blue and lighter gray shades in groom’s suits.  For 2018, black and dark gray suits will be in, with a pop of burgundy, which will remain trendy.

Velvet piping seen on cuffs and collars will give a sense of modernity. Silk fabrics will also be very in, as silk adds more elegance and charm to the overall look.
With the look below, we can guarantee you will stand out in a sea of wedding Instagram photos.

For a rustic theme wedding!!
Tweed is back in the spotlight for the remainder of 2017, and will remaining popular into the cold months of 2018. Tweed is the perfect choice to match with a rustic or vintage style wedding. With the perfect cuts and designs, tweed suits do not have to look like they belong in your grandfather's closet!

The Three Pieces suit is a classic!!
The three-piece suit will never go out of fashion. Exuding elegance and class, the three-piece need not be frowned upon as ‘boring’. Grooms have the option to mix and match colours and textures, giving different styles and looks to their outfits.

Canadian Event Industry Awards

We are so incredible flattered and proud to have won a Canadian Special Events Award, alongside R5 Event Management and Design, for Whimsical World of Avatar, Madelyn’s Bat Mitzvah! The award was for best event décor under $30,000 and we could not be more honoured!

Madelyn’s Bat Mitzvah was an absolutely outstanding event! The theme and the décor elements were unique and one of a kind and the Avatar meets Midsummer Night’s Dream theme perfectly aligned with Madelyn’s spunky, colourful and creative personality.

One of the most awe-inspiring décor aspect was the 35ft x 20ft two-tier crystal chandelier that we hung over top of the dance floor. The chandelier was filled with Twinkling LED Lights for that starry night effect. Guests truly felt like they were outside, dancing under a starry night, in a mystical environment, surrounded by glowing lights.

The reception room had a plethora of different sized and shaped tables, giving the space a very whimsical layout. Each large round table had a custom designed 12ft purple Wisteria tree coming out of the centre. The tree branches and leaves draped over the entire table, creating an intimate, yet whimsical environment for guests during dinner.

In between the four oversized tables stood two 8ft mirrored tables. Each mirrored table was filled with low floral centerpieces in different heights. Purple phalaenopsis orchids were cascading to create a floral wave affect on each table. Fairy Berries were also placed throughout the florals to continue with the whimsical Avatar theme. Finally, the kids’ tables were lined with a rectangle structure with cascading florals, similar to the trees, and floating LED Fairy Berries. The remaining guest tables were 5’ft Purple Wisteria trees placed on round tables with a low floral arrangement and LED Fairy Berries. Each tree also had LED string lights, further enhancing the whimsical fantasy effect throughout the entire space.

On the night of, all of the guests were completely wowed and felt like they were taken to a magical and mystical place. Most importantly, the Bat Mitzvah girl, Madelyn, was blown away by the décor and loved every part of the evening.

Long Curls or Slick Up-Dos: Part Two Long Curls

Here is part two of the Up-Do vs. Down Do wedding hairstyles.  Down Dos are exactly what some brides want to encompass on the day of their wedding. Long beautiful curls full of volume and life. There are so many ways to make curls shine.

We are going to start off with the softer curls. Beach waves if you must. These waves are perfect for any bohemian themed or beach wedding. They are little and elegant and can be accomplished with any hair type.

Next we have the beautiful curls. All by themselves with no added pieces. These curls are stunning and are perfect when framing your face. Perfect for most dresses, but not ideal for a really hot day. Having your hair down can make it too hot during pictures and dancing.

You can also put some pieces up. This can help in the warmer summer months to keep you cool.  It makes for a beautiful hairstyle adding braids and twists.

Another option is to add a few flowers throughout the curls. Having a mix of braids, curls and flowers can make your look unforgettable.

The hairstyle you have on your wedding day is a big decision. This decision should be based on your dress, make up and even your personal style. Hopefully this helps makes that decision easier.
